The so called Türbe is a mouseleum or tomb where the Ottoman Sultans or notables of the era were burried under the ground level. On top of the grave there is a symbolic sarcophagi, usually covered with green draperies. The royalty's head piece, often a white turban for men is placed on the sarchophagi, or sanduka( in Turkish) . Most türbes are located inside the Mosque grounds or complex.
