The so called Türbe is a mausoleum or tomb where the Ottoman Sultans or notables of the era were burred under the ground level. On top of the grave there is a symbolic sarcophagi, usually covered with green draperies. The royalty's head piece, often a white turban for men is placed on the sarcophagi, or sanduka( in Turkish) . Most türbes are located inside the Mosque grounds or complex.
