I am sure you all have heard by now, either through my parents, sister or me....but if you haven't...... Scottie and I are engaged!!! We are the only two on earth not on face book, so I wanted to send a massive email out to everyone! We went on an eleven day trip to California and had a wonderful time. Scottie proposed to me at sunset on a secret beach called Pfeiffer beach ( pretty much only known to locals in the Big Sur area). It was just perfect and I was so happy to say yes! I attached a couple images ( we re-enacted the proposal ha). Now I can't wait to plan a wedding and drive scottie, my sister and mom crazy! :)
VETS MEET AT SHISH KEBAB RESTAURANT
John Bross and Cem Ozmeral are both veterans who served in Turkey. John who was stationed in Diyarbakir never forgot the days he spent in the region. Both his wife Joan love the Turkish culture and Turkish food and invited Ozmerals to Shish Kebab an excellent choice for Turkish food.* They were also joined by their friends Harry and Eleanor Loucks from Danville Ohio. Of course the main talk of the night was Turkey.
Oncelikle herkese iyi Ramazanlar. Ekim ayinin 25 inde onbes gunlugune yalniz olarak Istanbul'a geliyorum. Bu sure zarfinda hem akrabalar hemde arkadaslarla gorusmeyi umuyorum. Bu ziyaretlerin disinda gunduzleri benim arastirma ve yazilara bilgi ve fotograf toplama icin yapacagim gezintiler var. Bunlarida size bilgi babinda yolluyorum. Aranizda belirli bir bolgeye beraber gitmek isteyenler olablir, katilimdan mutlulk duyarim.
Gezintilerin cogunu toplu tasima araclari ile yapacagim, bol tabanvay var!!. Aksamlarida akraba ve arkadaslarla bulusmayi umuyorum.
